The City Park, established in 1933, is the oldest in our park system. Hubble Creek winds through the park with a walk over bridge. Totaling 88 acres, the City Park is busy with many year-round activities, Entrances are located from the streets of North High Street (US Highway 61), West Independence Street, West Park Street, and North Union Avenue.
Park features include:

- 1 sand volleyball court
- 1 skateboard pad/4 modular jumps
- 1-½ mile recreational trail
- 2 lighted outdoor basketball courts
- 3 horse shoe pits
- 3-acre lake
- 5 restrooms
