Overview
The Historic Preservation Commission consists of five citizen members and two alternate members who are authorized by the city's Historic Preservation ordinance to review exterior changes to buildings and structures which have been locally designated as Historic Landmarks or Historic Districts within the City of Jackson. The Commission also provides guidance and support to owners of historic properties who are seeking nomination to the National Register of Historic Places or general information about the restoration of historic structures and properties.
